This painting showcases the natural beauty of Eucalyptus tetragona branches, lovingly arranged in a clear glass vase. The silvery-green leaves and clusters of gum nuts stand out vividly against the rich, draped fabric backdrop, which transitions between black and dark violet hues. The folds in the fabric add a sense of depth and texture, enhancing the contrast with the smooth, reflective surface of the vase. The interplay of light highlights the delicate details of the eucalyptus and the glass, creating an elegant and harmonious composition. This piece exudes a calm and sophisticated atmosphere. The branches were given to me as a present during a very busy time in life, and every time I looked at them, I had to admire their beauty, which is why I had to paint them!
